I am a consultant ENT surgeon based at Spire Bristol Hospital, offering expert care for a wide range of nose, sinus, ear, throat and neck conditions in both adults and children. Whether you or your child are struggling with blocked sinuses, nasal polyps, a deviated septum, sore throat, hoarse voice, neck lumps, tonsillitis, hearing problems, or something more complex, I aim to provide clear answers and effective treatment in a setting where you are seen promptly and treated as an individual.
I have a particular specialist interest in rhinology — conditions affecting the nose and sinuses — and in skull base surgery, where I work alongside neurosurgical colleague Mr Kumar Abhinav. Together we have built a nationally and internationally recognised endoscopic skull base service. As the ENT Endoscopic Lead for the Southwest Skull Base Multidisciplinary Team, I coordinate complex skull base care across Bristol’s major NHS hospitals and receive referrals from ENT colleagues throughout the region, when cases require a higher level of rhinological expertise.
I treat the full range of general ENT conditions in adults and children, from routine ear, nose and throat problems to complex nasal and sinus pathology that may have proved difficult to manage elsewhere — including cases referred by other ENT surgeons seeking specialist input.
My training includes a medical degree from the University of Oxford and King’s College London, specialist ENT training in Bristol, and fellowships in complex rhinology and skull base surgery in Malaysia and Glasgow. I was appointed as a consultant in 2020.
I believe good surgical care starts with a thorough explanation of what is wrong and what the options are. My aim is always for you to leave your consultation with a clear plan and the confidence to make an informed decision about your treatment.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I play the guitar and perform with some of my anaesthetic colleagues. Any other free time I like to go to the gym, run, play tennis and wakeboard.
