I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust. I graduated with 1st class honours from Bristol University and undertook basic surgical training in London. My higher surgical training was in the South West, which preceded a fellowship in Advanced Hip Arthroplasty Surgery in Bristol.
I have also undergone a fellowship at the world-renowned Endoklinic in Hamburg.
My clinical interests are primary and revision hip surgery. I have been awarded an MD by Bristol University on the subject of prevention and treatment of joint infection.
Since January 2012 I have been responsible for the postgraduate education of Orthopaedic Trainees in the Severn Deanery.
