Mr Jason Webb

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust where I am currently also the Clinical Lead for Elective Orthopaedic Services. I specialise in primary and revision hip surgery. I also specialise in hip resurfacing, hip revision and infection prevention and treatment.

I perform more than 200 hip replacements a year and I focus on providing a bespoke holistic service for each patient with hip disease to ensure that I can return them to their best possible function. I perform meticulous pre-operative planning for both the medical and orthopaedic conditions. In addition, I use hip replacement implants with proven long term results. All the above are reflected in my excellent personal results on the National Joint Registry.

I graduated with first class honours from Bristol University and my higher surgical training was in the South West. I have done two fellowships in Advanced Hip Arthroplasty Surgery in Bristol and at the world-renowned Endo-klinik in Hamburg. In 2015 I was the British Hip Society Ambassador on the prestigious USA Rothman-Ranawat Travelling Fellowship.

I have been awarded an MD by Bristol University on the subject of prevention and treatment of joint infection.

In my personal life, I was born and educated in Bristol. Outside work I am interested in ancient classical history, swimming, cycling and spending time with my wife and two children.
