Dr Amrit Darvay

I have been a consultant dermatologist for over 10 years. I started at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and, in 2010, moved to North Bristol NHS Trust where I am specialty lead for dermatology. I am working closely with plastic surgery colleagues to develop an integrated skin cancer service for Bristol.
My NHS practice comprises a mixture of skin cancer work and general dermatology which includes acne, eczema and psoriasis treatment across both paediatric and adult patients. I am a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Dermatology at the University of Bristol and am involved in teaching GPs, dermatology trainees and medical students.
I have published 18 peer reviewed articles on a variety of dermatology topics and have co-authored a book on acne which has been translated into several languages.
