Mr Richard Sainsbury qualified in 1976 and trained in Newcastle Upon Tyne. He became a Consultant in 1988. Mr Sainsbury's first post was in the only district hospital which was site specialised and he developed the breast team there. Mr Sainsbury moved to University College London in 2000 and headed the breast team until 2007.
His interests include: - sentinel node biopsy (I taught in the national training scheme) - reconstruction Mr Richard Sainsbury performs all aspects of breast surgery including augmentations (enlargements), mastopexy and reductions.
