I have been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for 16 years and am a highly qualified, fellowship-trained expert in dealing with all problems relating to the foot and ankle. I have a busy NHS and private practice in the East Berkshire region and surrounding areas, and co-founded the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic in 2007. In 2014 I was invited to join the Fortius Clinic in London and thus now have a London private practice in addition.

I specialise purely in foot and ankle surgery, including toe surgery (for example bunions / hallux valgus), complex deformity corrections, arthritis surgery, arthrodesis (fusion) and joint replacement - predominantly 1st MTP joint and ankle replacement. I have a keen interest in trauma and am a member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine - I therefore regularly see and treat such problems as Achilles tendon disorders, Plantar fasciitis, stress fractures, ankle instability and shin splints. I use minimally invasive techniques, such as arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and non-invasive techniques such as shockwave therapy whenever appropriate.

I have performed thousands of hallux valgus (bunion) operations and many of a wide range of other foot and ankle procedures over a 13 year period in both NHS and private practice. These include arthrodesis (fusion) of foot and ankle joints, tendon and ligament repairs and reconstructions, deformity correction procedures, cartilage repairs and joint replacements.

I am research lead in the Orthopaedic Department at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals, and am Principle Investigator on a number of studies currently.

I am an elected member of the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS), which involves a heavy commitment to convening and lecturing on courses in my field of expertise around the country and abroad.

I co-founded a post-graduate "Fellowship" (apprenticeship) in foot and ankle surgery in 2007, which is now nationally recognised. I am also co-founder and partner of the Windsor Foot and Ankle Clinic.
