I am interested in the surgery of benign and malignant conditions of the breast, reconstruction and symmetrization procedures. I find it important to provide support and treatment for patients at high risk by offering risk reducing or prophylactic operations. I am interested in insuring multidisciplinary assessment of patients.

After receiving training in France and Romania I graduated from university in my home country with the dissertation on The value of HP examination of sentinel node in invasive breast cancer. I had the opportunity to attend a surgical techniques scholarship in Leipzig, Germany before integrating the general surgery training in Romania. I entered a post CCT breast surgery fellowship at Oxford University Hospital where I achieved expertise in oncoplastic procedures and developed an interest in partial breast reconstructions. I was appointed in 2017 as a Substantive Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS FT.

The current practice is no longer valued based on the absolute numbers but on the value of risks associated with the procedures. In my practice the risks of the operations have a value lower to the value accepted nationwide as being safe. I audit this value yearly as part of the appraisal process and reflective practice and are reported.

I hold a management position and I believe in the clinical commitment of doctors to their patients.
