I am an experienced general physician with a special interest in neuro-cardiovascular diseases.

1. General medical problems in any age over 16 years : weight loss, tiredness, back pains, breathlessness, abnormal blood tests and other health concerns. 2. Funny turns in the young (faints, blackouts, syncope, suspected seizures, unexplained collapses, palpitations, dizziness, chronic fatigue, and other non-specific symptoms): This is a heterogeneous group with a wide differential diagnosis, ranging from dysrhythmias, structural heart disease, neurocardiogenic syncope, POTS, orthostatic hypotension, TIA’s, seizures/NEAD or other undiagnosed systemic disorders. 3. Funny turns in the elderly (unexplained falls, unsteadiness, dizziness, poor balance, declining mobility, memory lapses) : This is a complex area overlapping with genuine cardiac pathologies (coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure & structural heart disease), autonomic impairment (postural hypotension), vestibular pathologies (BPPV, vestibular hypofunction), cerebrovascular disease (large and small vessel disease, posterior fossa pathology, space occupying lesions) and gait disorders (Parkinsonism, spinal canal stenosis and frailty) complicated by memory impairment in the affected individual.
