The minimally invasive technique that Mr Hollis uses is known as microsuction, which involves the use of a microscope to provide a good view of the ear canal and a miniature vacuum cleaner to gently remove any ear wax. This is a comfortable and safe method of cleaning the ear, that does not carry the risk of infection or trauma that can be associated with syringing.
