Foot and Ankle Surgery Total Ankle Replacements
After primary qualification from the University of Bombay, Mr Dalal underwent Orthopaedic Residency training in Bombay which culminated in the award of the MS (Orthopaedics) and Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1989 and 1988 respectively. Mr Dalal continued his Orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom, on the North East Thames, Oxford and Cambridge Rotations. Mr Dalal obtained the FRCS Orth in 1998 and continued his Fellowship training in London, Dallas and Baltimore. Mr Dalal was appointed Consultant Orthpaedic Surgeon at Stockport NHS Trust in 1998. Mr Dalal also holds a Honorary Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) Contract with the University of Manchester. Mr Dalal has published extensively on various aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has described several innovative Surgical Techniques. Mr Dalal has also contributed chapters in Orthopaedic Surgery textbooks and lectured extensively at National and International meetings.
Mr Rakesh Dalal is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising primarily in disorders of the Foot and Ankle.
Mr Dalal's primary interest is in Foot and Ankle Surgery and he carried out the whole spectrum of Foot and Ankle Surgery, from Ingrowing toenails to total ankle replacements.
