I am a consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in full spectrum of trauma management and lower limb arthroplasty (total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacement). I offer arthroscopic and open surgical solutions for management of presentations related to knee and hip joint, like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fractures, avascular necrosis and developments conditions. I have developed a special interest in performing partial knee replacement. On trauma side, I offer full spectrum of non operative and operative treatment for upper and lower limb trauma.

I am proud of my interpersonal skills, which helps me reach an agreed management plan with my patients, for best possible management of their presentations. With a compassionate and patient centred approach, I remain committed to helping individuals regain their functionality, alleviate pain and restore their overall wellbeing.

I specialise in general orthopaedic surgery with special interest in lower limb arthroplasty surgery. I offer total hip replacements, total knee replacements and partial knee replacement surgeries for osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis presentations. I also offer arthroscopic knee surgery for degenerative and sports injury related knee presentations.

I am a fellowship trained trauma surgeon. I offer full spectrum of trauma management (upper limb and lower limb) from routine everyday trauma to management of complex periarticular and periprosthetic fractures.

I have performed in excess of 4,600 surgical procedure (Trauma and Orthopaedics), including over 500 lower limb arthroplasty procedures (total and partial knee replacements, total hip replacements). I have also performed over 300 knee and ankle arthroscopic procedure for varying presentations.

For initial presentations I offer non operative management in the form of steroid and Platelet Rich Plasma injections. My management decisions are based upon review of the patient as a whole, in the light of current evidence and with a agreement with the patient making an informed decision.

I have a wide experience of working throughout the country, in some state of the art Orthopaedic specialist centres, including Robert Jones & Agnus Hunt Hospital (Oswestry), Royal Liverpool and Broad Green Hospitals, Wrightington Hospital and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Over the years, I have gained a broad knowledge and skill set to deal with the most of common trauma & Orthopaedic presentations.

I have also developed strong communication skills, which help me create a good rapport, not only with my colleagues, but also with my patients. It puts my in a very good position to make informed decisions for my patients, for the best possible safe care for them, improving their outcomes.

I always find ways to keep my self up to date with current evidence, helping provide the best and safest possible patient care.

I am a member of the trauma oversight group, which helps devise protocols of management of trauma at our hospital. It involves a robust communication with the regional trauma centres, reviewing our practices in light of guidelines and improving patient care.

I am a faculty member for national trainee recruitment for Trauma & Orthopaedics. I am a keen teacher, who is approachable and supportive. I supervise medical students and junior colleagues, in their progression through their medical careers.
