I practice both obstetrics and gynaecology although my main interests are keyhole surgery for a wide range of gynaecological disorders.

My background is infertility and having worked in an IVF unit I then became interested in keyhole surgery, particularly for people with fertility problems.

I hold the post as Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. I qualified in Liverpool having trained and practised in Manchester since 1992 and I am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

I am interested in teaching and have written three text books for doctors in obstetrics and gynaecology and I have participated in the development of other educational resources for patients. I have several publications and I am often invited to lecture at local and national scientific meetings. I visit other hospitals to teach keyhole surgery and also teach advanced keyhole surgery at the University of Surrey.
