I have been a Consultant in O&G for over eight years and I am expert in Urogynaecology and general gynaecology and also have special interest in ultrasound scanning in gynaecology.

My special interests in gynaecology include urogynaecology, general gynaecology and early pregnancy. In other words, I am an expert in management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, heavy or irregular periods, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and other gynaecological issues.

In my practice, I routinely undertake hysteroscopic procedures, urodynamics, cystoscopic procedures for incontinence, operations for urinary incontinence, prolapse operations, laparoscopic / abdominal hysterectomies, operations for benign ovarian cysts, management of vulval and perineal conditions.

I have been lead of the Urogynaecology unit in my NHS practice and have been proud of the achievements of our team which includes obtaining BSUG accreditation with highest score in the country in 2021. In the last few years I have been actively involved in the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG). Since 2021, I have been the Chair of BSUG Audit Database Committee and I have recently been appointed as the Honorary secretary of BSUG. These national roles have given me an opportunity to work towards enhancing urogynaecology as a specialty in our country.
