My special interests are in hip and knee arthroplasty and knee arthroscopy.
I qualified from St Bartholemew's Hospital in 1996. I undertook higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in the Wessex Deanery developing an interest in trauma and hip and knee arthroplasty. This was furthered with specialist fellowship as Arthroplasty Fellow and Lecturer at The Royal Adelaide Hospital (2008/9).
I am a consultant at Queen Alexandra Hospital where I have a busy elective and trauma practice. I am on the trauma rota managing general trauma and periprosthetic fractures and have a further interest in the management of elderly hip fracture patients.

Outside work I enjoy sailing, windsurfing, skiing and tennis, although most of this has now taken a back seat with the arrival of my young family!
