I have a personal interest in prostate cancer and I perform both retropubic and perineal prostatectomy for localised prostate cancer.
I chair a monthly session for the Quality Forum at St Mary's Hospital, which runs audit projects that are designed to improve delivery of quality care to all urology patients.
I work closely with a clinical scientist based at the University of Portsmouth to develop my research interests in the fields of bladder and prostate cancer.

I am married with four children and have lived in this region for the last six years. I am a Roman Catholic by faith. My sporting interests are varied including both individual and team events. I enjoy running, swimming, football, tennis, golf, karting and snooker. I also play the piano and enjoy both classical and popular music. I am an avid reader of both fictional and non-fictional manuscripts. My other interests are the theatre, cinema and I have also been known to travel to Anfield to watch Liverpool FC occasionally.
