Professional profile

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in Hand and Wrist problems. I trained at Cambridge and St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. In 2001 I spent a year in Capetown, South Africa undertaking a hand and trauma fellowship.

I have been a Consultant in Portsmouth NHS Trust working at Queen Alexandra Hospital since 2002 as part of the Hand Surgery and Trauma teams. I have combined this NHS work with service in the Royal Army Medical Corps and the deployments this has entailed. I have recently left the Army and my regular NHS general trauma commitment to concentrate on my hand and wrist surgery.
