I had been suffering from a double slipped disk for nine months giving me sciatica down both legs constantly. And as a result, I had no quality of life at all.

Spencer Harland was amazing. I had spoken to another surgeon previously (and) chosen not to proceed - but Mr Harland put my mind at rest.

This was my first ever surgery and I was very impressed with the level of care and support I was given. It made a massive difference to me (and) my recovery was very quick. I was walking good distances after a few days and returned to work after four weeks.

I have now returned to full movement and more or less full activities - which is a blessing as I couldn't even play with my children before. I have a small amount of pain in (my) right hamstring from time to time but that is all.
