I have worked as a Physiotherapist for 17 years, initially specialising in cardio-respiratory physiotherapy and later in orthopaedic rehabilitation. I have become a hand specialist in the past 2 years and am now the Lead Physiotherapist for the Spire Little Aston Hand Service. I am currently studying for a Masters in Hand Therapy with the aim of developing a leading hand service in the region.
I specialise in hand therapy with specific interests in wrist rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation for trapeziectomy, Dupuytren's and fracture management. I have developed local protocols for the post-operative management of hand conditions.
I have extensive experience of treating a variety of post-operative hand conditions including the production of bespoke splints.
In addition to my physiotherapy role, I also teach National Childbirth Trust antenatal classes which cover labour, birth and early parenting.

Spire Little Aston Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
