I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncology Lead at University Hospitals of Birmingham (UHB) NHS Trust, with a specialist interest in complex gynaecological surgery and advanced endometriosis care. I lead nationally accredited BSGE Endometriosis Centres of Excellence at both UHB and Spire Little Aston Hospital, delivering comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for women with severe and complex endometriosis.
My clinical practice encompasses a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions, including ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders, fibroids, uterine polyps, infertility, and menopause management. I have particular expertise in operative hysteroscopy, including the treatment of submucous fibroids, endometrial polyps, uterine septum, and endometrial ablation

I specialise in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, including complex procedures for deeply infiltrating endometriosis involving the bowel and laparoscopy endometriosis surgery . I am highly experienced in performing total laparoscopic hysterectomy, focusing on enhanced recovery pathways that enable discharge within 24 hours and a rapid return to normal activities, with consistently high patient satisfaction.

I completed my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the West Midlands in 2011 and have undertaken further advanced surgical training in leading centres across the UK and internationally.
As Clinical Lead of a BSGE-accredited Endometriosis Centre, I oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with national standards. These centres are recognised by the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) for excellence in the management of severe endometriosis, offering patients access to expert multidisciplinary teams and advanced surgical care.
