I qualified in 1980 and completed my training in Nottingham, Manchester and the West Midlands before becoming a Consultant Urologist in 1992.
I have a large general urological practice with over 20 years consultant experience, regularly dealing with a wide range of urological problems including raised PSA, haematuria (blood in the urine), bladder, kidney and prostate cancer, urinary tract infections, scrotal and testicular problems. Special interests include green light laser prostatectomy; together with erectile problems and penile cancer. I also regularly performs vasectomy reversals with a current patency rate of 85%.
I am currently clinical director of urology at the Heart of England NHS Trust and a member of council of the British Association of Urological Surgeons. I am also currently chair of the Medical Advisory Committee here at Spire Little Aston Hospital.

I am married with two daughters and have one grand-daughter. In my spare time I enjoy working on my allotment, playing tennis and when time allows a brief family break to my holiday cottage in North Devon, walking my two springer spaniels on the beach.Back to top
