Virtual consultations:
I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1996. I have extensive experience in the management of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor problems in both women and men. In 2002 i completed a postgraduate qualification in continence at the University of East London and have gained full membership to the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health (ACPWH). I specialise in the treatment of urogynaecological conditions and pelvic floor dysfunctions, including prolapses, urinary incontinence and sexual discomfort and incontinence as a result of prostate surgery. Patients are seen post gynaecological surgery to ensure that they are given appropriate advice and exercises with regards to returning to normal daily activities. In 2006 i obtained a further qualification in urodynamic assessment. I am able to perform bladder instillations (washouts) for those women who have interstitial cystitis and chronic bladder pain. I work very closely with both uro-gynaecological and urology consultants to ensure that patients receive an integrated continence service.
