I am a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who is qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry. Following higher surgical training in the southwest, I was awarded the certificate of completion of training (CCT) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I have extensive experience managing pathology of the face, mouth, jaws and neck and have published and presented nationally/internationally on a number of subjects in this specialty.
I hold an NHS Consultant post at Leicester Royal Infirmary. My specialty interests include facial deformity (orthognathic surgery), facial trauma, craniofacial trauma, benign head and neck pathology and dentoalveolar surgery.
I am an Educational and Clinical Supervisor for doctors in training. Additionally to this I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Assessment Lead for Finals (Year 5) at the University of Leicester School of Medicine.
I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons England, and the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
