I have been a consultant surgeon here in Leeds for over 6 years.

I am experienced in all aspects of upper GI Surgery including resectional cancer surgery and weight loss surgery.

I have published widely in peer reviewed journals and I was awarded a higher medical degree through Oxford University in 2008. I publish widely in all aspects of oesophago-gastric surgical oncology and am a reviewer for the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeon.

I have been working in the private sector for over 5 years. My private practice reflects my NHS practice.

I specialise in the following: upper gastrointestinal surgical oncology, laparoscopic (minimally invasive) gastrointestinal surgery, anti-reflux and achalasia surgery, weight loss surgery (gastric band, sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass), gallbladder disease, hernia surgery and all aspects of general surgery including local anaesthetic procedures and toenail surgery.
