Professional profile

I completed my medical training in Oxford 1994. Since then, apart from an initial three years in general training I have focused on comprehensive specialist training in adult and paediatric ENT. I am particularly interested in advanced sinus surgery and rhinology.

I have always been involved in research and have published multiple academic papers. As a research fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, I completed an MD in 2005. In 2007 I was a visiting fellow to the ENT Department at Yale, USA gaining experience in sinus surgery and managing patients with HHT.

As an ENT consultant at the General Infirmary at Leeds, I have a general adult and paediatric NHS practice, with a special interest in nasal and sinus conditions.

Personal Profile

I have two wonderful children that take up plenty of my time! When time allows however, I enjoy skiing, hill walking and turning my hand to woodwork.
