I consultant urologist and specialise in treating men's health issues, incontinence and general urology. My special interests include: benign prostate conditions, male incontinence and sexual dysfunction, male infertility, prostate and bladder cancer and genital reconstructive surgery.

I am currently appointed as a consultant urologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. Additionally I work alongside infertility colleagues at the Leeds Centre for Reproductive Medicine (LCRM).

I completed my specialist surgical training in Cambridge and London; including a two year fellowship working with international experts at University College London Hospital.

I completed a higher degree in the molecular biology of penile cancer and awarded the prestigious Hunterian Professorship in 2010 by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I currently act as reviewer for several international urology journals and I'm a faculty member of the F1000 research portfolio.

I believe it is important that patients receive optimal care alongside the continual development of high quality clinical and scientific research. This fascinating interface allows me to promote clinical excellence in urology whilst nurturing innovation and improving surgical outcomes.

I am married and live in North Yorkshire where I spend my spare time with my family. I am a keen sportsman and an enthusiastic supporter of Yorkshire Cricket Club. I am currently involved with a number of local and national charities helping to raise funds for urological research.
