I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery at Spire Leeds Hospital and Spire Harrogate Clinic. My areas of specific interest are hip and knee replacement surgery (primary and revision) for a variety of underlying conditions including osteoarthritis. I also perform knee arthroscopy (keyhole surgery).

I carry out my NHS work at Chapel Allerton hospital where I was appointed in 2012. I am a trainer for junior orthopaedic surgeons at Leeds Teaching hospitals and an instructor on regional training courses.

I was trained in Yorkshire as a registrar and then undertook additional fellowship training in hip and knee surgery at Warwick, York and Leeds. I practice enhanced recovery techniques in my joint replacements.

I have published and presented research in international journals and meetings.
