I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Leeds in both the NHS and private practice having been appointed in 2025. I specialise in both male and female urology. I have a broad general urological practice and a sub-specialist interest in female, functional and reconstructive urology.
My focus is in the assessment and treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (waterworks) and recurrent urinary tract infections. My areas of expertise include urinary incontinence (leakage of urine), overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, post-prostatectomy incontinence and painful bladder syndromes. I offer a full range of treatments, from conservative management to advanced surgical procedures, including sacral neuromodulation, artificial urinary sphincter and robotic techniques where appropriate.
I completed all my surgical training in Yorkshire traveling the length and breadth of the region and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2023. I subsequently undertook a unique advanced fellowship in female, functional and reconstructive urology at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds combining female and functional urology and robotic surgery.
Alongside my clinical work, I am involved nationally with the urological community. I have contributed to the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) consensus guidelines, authored book chapters, more recently in the prestigious Oxford Handbook of Urology, and published widely in peer-reviewed journals. I co-lead the module on female urology at the national urology bootcamp for newly appointed urology residents and I am an OSCE examiner at the University of Leeds. I currently serve as the governance lead in my NHS department.
