I am a very experienced GP having worked in general practice for 20 years after completing three years in hospital posts. I moved to Leeds with my family in 2001 and worked for 12 years in a practice in Headingley. I have also worked in the Bupa wellness centre where I gained experience in health screening and offering lifestyle advice.

I offer a wide and comprehensive range of general practice services including chronic and acute medical and mental healthcare as well as lifestyle advice and screening. I have additional qualifications in sexual and reproductive health and a diploma in child health.

I really enjoy my post as a private GP at Spire Leeds and the extra time the half hour appointments are affording to allow me to spend time listening to patients with problems which are often extremely complex.

Menopause service
I now offer a dedicated menopause clinic at Spire Leeds every Wednesday. For more information or to book an appointment, please call the self pay team on 0113 218 5967.

Over the past few years I have seen many women struggling with the menopause as well as gaining first hand knowledge of the impacts of a symptomatic menopause. I am very experienced in managing all aspects of the menopause and peri menopause and have gained accreditation as a British Menopause Society specialist. 

I have found that it is really beneficial for women to be able to spend time having an in-person discussion regarding their menopause so that any advice and treatment can be tailored to their own individual needs and offer half hour appointments in a relaxed, friendly environment.
