Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Lee Graham at Spire include:
Radiofrequency ablation, atrial fibrillation ablation, palpitations, electrophysiology, defibrillator implantation, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, ventricular tachycardia ablation including epicardial ablation.
I am a senior consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at the Yorkshire Heart Centre, Leeds General Infirmary and Spire Leeds Hospital. I was appointed in 2008.
I specialise in all aspects of the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (heart rhythm disorders) and in standard and complex cardiac pacing. I qualified from Manchester University in 1996 and subsequently undertook specialist cardiology training in Leeds. I obtained a PhD from the University of Leeds in 2004 after a period of research.
More recently, I have specialised in the field of interventional electrophysiology and spent a fellowship year in Christchurch, New Zealand where I received extensive training in the management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias before returning to the UK to complete my training.
My specific areas of interest are: palpitations and heart rhythm disorders, radiofrequency ablation procedures, atrial fibrillation ablation, ventricular tachycardia ablation, pacemaker implantation, defibrillator implantation and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (biventricular pacing) for heart failure.
