I am a consultant in anaesthesia and pain management at Spire Leeds Hospital and Spire Harrogate Clinic.

My special clinical interests centre on the diagnosis and management of chronic pain conditions, including back and neck pain treated through targeted spinal interventions. I have particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of nerve‑related pain, as well as complex abdominal and pelvic pain syndromes. My practice also includes minimally invasive procedures such as nucleoplasty, alongside providing medico‑legal consultancy services.

I graduated in medicine from Madras, India in 1996.

Following this I underwent my post graduation training in anaesthesia and pain management at the Yorkshire Deanery.

I left off-rotation training to undergo a clinical fellowship in pain management at McMaster University, Canada. This has given me a wide and deep experience in managing a variety of chronic pain problems.
