Dr Clare Spencer
MA (CANTAB) MB BChir, DM MRCOG MRCGP
I am a registered menopause specialist based in Leeds and hold membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
I qualified from Cambridge University in 1995. I initially followed a career in obstetrics and gynaecology, completing an MD in fetomaternal medicine and a fellowship in Ohio, USA. I changed to GP to improve work life balance and have been a GP partner at the Meanwood Group Practice Leeds since 2013. I have run the Leeds menopause service since July 2018 and am also a GP with special interest in gynaecology. I am a member of the British Menopause Society, International Menopause Society and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. I regularly give talks and write about the menopause and HRT.
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Leeds Hospital.
