MB BChir, MA Hons, Cantab, MRCP, FRCPath, PhD.
I've been working as a clinical haematologist since 2008, and as a consultant in the specialty since 2016. I have a dual clinical and academic role which allows me the privilege of both helping to contribute to developing better treatments for all patients with myeloma, and looking after individual patients with this condition. I am heavily involved in developing and running clinical trials and try to use this knowledge of the evolving landscape of treatments to make sure the patients I see have access to the newest and best therapies.
My main area of expertise is in blood cancers, specifically multiple myeloma. I see patients with other blood conditions and work as part of a team of haemtologists with a range of expertise so will refer on anyone I see who can benefit from the expertise of my colleagues. I'm able to offer access to all the diagnostic procedures needed in haematology.
