Mr Dave Colvill from Upminster in Essex visited Spire Hartswood Hospital in May 2011 for an operation
Mr Colvill wrote to Head of Clinical Services, Garry Court, to commend the Hartswood staff:
"I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the Spire (Hartswood) Hospital and all their staff for the special care and attention taken during my stay at the Hospital in May.
My special thanks go to Lorna Wellington-Haye, Linda Peacock and Bridie Cassie for the extra care afforded during the difficult time just after my operation in May 2011 and all done with a smile too.
Also, I cannot forget the 'polite and very understanding' anaesthetist Dr Wickrama who took the time to explain everything both before and after the operation and also the 'effervescent' Lauren in pre and post theatre for her friendly comments and big smile just when I needed it most.
And last but not least, the light hearted but extremely professional Mr Gujral who simply oozes confidence and reassurance in his patients; he takes the name 'consultant' to the very highest level and whose skill and judgement are beyond doubt.
I do hope that this letter may provide others with the confidence to trust the Spire (Hartswood) Hospital for all their medical care and attention.
