Mr Chawla patient

Having been told by my optician that I had cataracts in both eyes, I started to find a surgeon locally who could perform the procedure. I was recommended to Mr Jagmohan Chawla by my insurance company and how glad I am that they did.

Obviously being rather concerned about the prospect of having a procedure on my eyes, I went to my consultation with Mr Chawla feeling very nervous. I was greeted by the lovely Jenny, his assistant nurse, and soon began to feel more relaxed. Mr Chawla explained what the procedure entailed and answered all of my questions. I left the consultation feeling relaxed and was actually looking forward to having my first eye done.

I attended the Spire Hartswood Hospital on the day of the procedure and was soon settled into my room and looked after by the fantastic staff there. When I was taken into the theatre, Jenny was there once again to greet me. The operation was over in next to no time by Mr Chawla. Before I was discharged, Mr Chawla came to see me and check that everything was OK… Such a professional, reassuring man. I received a follow up call on Sunday from Jenny to make sure everything was OK, which it was. I had the next eye done a few weeks later with the same excellent dedicated attention and the end results are absolutely fantastic.

Everything is so much brighter and the colours are amazing. I am now glasses free and enjoying my new outlook on the things around me. A big, big thank you to the whole team especially Mr Chawla, Jenny and Pip Chambers (Mr Chawla’s secretary) for all of the attention lavished on me. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Mr Chawla, Jenny and their team. Thank you!
