I studied at the University of Hertfordshire and qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005. After qualifying I spent two years as a rotational physiotherapist working in various specialties at Broomfield Hospital. I then specialised further in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as a senior and continued in this field for seven years in the NHS before moving on to private practice in the city for two years, after this I moved to Spire Hartswood Hospital and have been here since 2016.
My main clinical interests are hand therapy including splinting, hydrotherapy and lower limb rehabilitation in particular for runners. I’ve spent seven seasons providing physiotherapy for a local rugby club.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Miss Helen Cullum at Spire include:
Shockwave therapy, laser verruca treatment, hydrotherapy, treatment of all post-operative and general musculoskeletal conditions , injuries and disorders.
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Hartswood Hospital.
