Mr TC Teo
MB, ChB, MD (Hons), FRCS (Ed), FRCS (Plast)
I graduated in medicine from the University of Aberdeen in 1982, where I was awarded a distinction in anatomy and surgery. At Harvard University in Boston, USA, my post-doctoral thesis on burn injuries was awarded the Cash Medal for the best thesis. I initially trained for eight years in general surgery in the Aberdeen Hospitals, after which I completed another eight years of plastic surgery training in a number of centres including St Thomas' Hospital in London and The Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. In 1998, I became a consultant at the Queen Victoria Hospital, where I perform a wide range of plastic surgery operations and train many future plastic surgeons.
I have a particular interest in surgical aesthetic rejuvenation of the face, breast and body as well as reconstructive surgery of the head and neck region, breasts, upper and lower limbs following trauma or disease. My other interests include: hand surgery, mole and tattoo removal surgery and scar revision. My philosophy is to place each patient's wel being at the centre of my care, from the first clinic meeting to the final aftercare. I will use my extensive experience and surgical skills to get the very best result for each and every patient.
