Mr Mahmoud Salman has been a Consultant General & Vascular Surgeon with Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust for five years. He has extensive experience in dealing with patients with arterial disease and also carries out treatment on varicose veins with either radiofrequency ablation, foam sclerotherapy or open surgery. Mr Salman regularly carries out laparoscopy hernia repairs and also open surgeries.

To date, Mr Salman has performed in excess of 70 carotid endarterectomies, 50-60 abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs and over 150 renal access procedures.

Mr Salman is the Director of the Sussex Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening programme and is the acting Director of the Renal Access Team.
