Here are some frequently asked questions that you might want to know before looking into a medical loan…

How to apply?

You can apply online at Zebra Health Finance using access code 2407704 for Spire Elland Hospital, they offer an instant decision online application.

Alternatively, you can call them on 01332 680 400 for further information or to see if you are eligible for a medical loan.

What is the age range for taking a loan out? 

You will need to be aged between 21 - 75 to apply for a loan with Zebra Health finance.

Do you pay me or the hospital/clinic?

Zebra will not pay you in cash. Zebra Health Finance will pay your Spire Healthcare directly to make things quick and easy for you.

When do they take the first payment?

One of Zebra friendly advisor will be able to inform you of the first payment date once you have completed your application and been approved.  However, they will always give you a minimum of 10 days’ written Advance Notice of Set Up of a Direct Debit Instruction when sets out payment amounts and the collections dates. If you would like to change this date please give us a call.

Do I need to have a good, clean credit history?

Can I take a loan out if I’m self-employed?

Yes you can, just give Zebra a call to talk over your application.

Do I have to have been living in the UK?

To be eligible to apply, you will need to have been a permanent UK resident for at least the last 3 years.

Do I need to be a homeowner?

It is not necessary for you to be a homeowner to apply for a Zebra Health Loan.

What if I only work part-time?

This is not a problem, but please give Zebra a call to discuss you circumstances if you are unsure.  

What should I do if I am a student?

If you are a student, please give us a call to discuss the best options for you.

Are joint applications available and who can I make one with?

Yes, you can make a joint application with a direct family member, Husband/ Wife, Mother/Father, Brother/Sister.
