I am a gynaecologist with accredited special interest in Urogynaecology, endoscopic and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery.
I qualified from Damascus University in 2004 with an MD. I underwent a surgical and urological training in Northampton and South Yorkshire for four years. I completed a structured training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for seven years. I underwent an accredited advanced training in Urogynaecology and vaginal surgery working in a tertiary referral centre in Sheffield dealing with complex cases.
I also did an accredited advanced training in benign gynaecology both open and laparoscopic. I have strong interest in medical education and I am an RCOG College Tutor.
