I am a Consultant in Trauma, Foot and Ankle Surgery. Within the National Health Service, I am based at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals. In private practice, I work at Princess Margaret Hospital and Spire Hospitals, including Spire Thames Valley and Spire Dunedin.
I work alongside a multidisciplinary team of expert radiologists, podiatrists and orthotists, with a strong focus on non‑operative management wherever possible. When surgical intervention is required, I utilise the most up‑to‑date techniques, including arthroscopic, minimally invasive and open procedures. My surgical practice includes the management of foot and ankle deformities such as bunions and arthritis, sports injuries (including Achilles tendon and ankle ligament injuries), diabetic foot reconstruction, and foot and ankle trauma.
I qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2007 and completed my basic and higher surgical training within the East of England rotation in 2018. I subsequently undertook two fellowships: the Windsor Foot and Ankle Fellowship, and a Diabetic and Trauma Fellowship at King’s College Hospital, London. I was also awarded a British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS) Travelling Fellowship, which I completed in France. Prior to my current appointment, I worked as a locum consultant at King’s College Hospital.
I am actively involved in medical education and training. I serve as faculty for FRCS examination preparation courses, contribute to undergraduate and registrar‑level teaching, and am the module lead for Brunel Medical School students. I also lecture at both national and international courses, sharing my expertise in foot and ankle conditions.
I am currently the Clinical Governance Lead at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals, where I work to improve clinical pathways and enhance patient experience within the trust.
