Dr Rima Clayton
BSc (Hons), MBBS, FRCP
I qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School which is now known as Imperial College School of Medicine in London. I also obtained a Clinical Sciences BSc(Hons) from Imperial College before graduating in 1999.
I entered into dermatology with my first post as a Senior House Officer at Amersham Hospital and then went on to undertake my Registrar training in and around Oxford where I developed a particular interest in skin cancer and dermatological surgery. My interest in paediatric dermatology came from time spent at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
I have presented both nationally and internationally in the past and have published widely as well as having contributed to several dermatology books.
I was appointed as a Consultant Dermatologist in Reading in 2008, but now practise at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford and continue to be a member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team.
I am a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and British Society for Dermatological Surgeons.
