Dear Mr Anderson,
Following my recent surgery for a knee replacement on 10th January, I wanted to write and thank each one of them, led by Mr Andrew Porteous, for the wonderful care and attention given to me during the whole operation. Not having experienced this procedure before I was unsure what to expect, but I felt at ease from the very start to the end of the operation.
I would also like to thank the nurses, physiotherapists and all other staff involved with my after care for the encouraging cheerful manner in which they carried out their very dedicated duties in a very relaxed and happy atmosphere.
I was particularly greatful to Mr Andrew Porteous for visiting me on a number of occasions following my surgery and for giving me the opportunity to ask questions regarding concerns I had on leaving hospital and returning home. I feel very fortunate to have been cared for by such skilful staff at The Spire and as a result I am making good steady progress.
