I am currently working as an Orthopaedic Consultant at the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, with my special interests being primary and revision hip surgery and prosthetic joint infections.
I gained my primary medical qualification and completed my basic surgical training in India. Having then achieved a Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery, I came to the United Kingdom, to further advance my interest and training in arthroplasty surgery.
In my personal life, I am an avid sports enthusiast enjoying a variety of sports, from table tennis and badminton to cricket and rugby.
I am a very good table tennis and badminton player and enjoy playing cricket, time permitting. Outside of medicine, I love spending time with my wife and daughter and going cycling with them.
I did my higher surgical training in the South West, which culminated in the prestigious Advanced Hip Arthroplasty Fellowship in Bristol.
I have an active interest in teaching and am regularly involved in teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates in orthopaedics.
