I have a broad training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery in Bristol and Oxford. I have been awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training and therefore privileged to be listed in the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council. I also undertook a fellowship at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Australia.

This is a prestigious unit, which treats national and international athletes from the whole of Australia and provided the medical staff in charge of running the Sydney 2000 Olympics. During my time there, I was trained in the latest techniques of arthroscopic day care surgery, which result in rapid patient recovery and subsequent rehabilitation.

I am responsible for tutoring medical students, physiotherapists and nursing staff, and regularly lecture at national and international meetings. I am also an orthopaedic adviser to the Rugby Football Union, Bath and Bristol Rugby Clubs, Bristol City Football Club and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
