I am a highly experienced Specialist Knee Surgeon, known nationally and internationally as a leader in the fields of knee replacement and knee injury. I am one of the highest volume knee surgeons in the country, having performed over 7,000 knee operations.

I have been been included in the Daily Mail’s list twice of “Top Knee Surgeons in the UK” (2010 and 2018) as voted for by knee surgeons. I used to be President of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and have written UK national practice guidelines for Knee Replacement and ACL injuries.

I am a senior knee surgeon at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust and have a private practice based at Spire Bristol, where I am a founding partner of the Knee Specialists group (kneespecialists.co.uk).
