Professional profile

I qualified from Imperial School of Medicine (formerly St Mary's Hospital Medical School) in 1998 and then moved to the South West to complete my postgraduate medical training.

Prior to commencing specialist training in Cardiology I undertook a period of research studying novel treatment strategies to prevent narrowing of stented coronaries and bypass grafts, culminating in the award of an MD.

My fellowship training was undertaken in the world renowned Greenlane Cardiovascular Unit in Auckland, New Zealand.. . I was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at the Bristol Heart Institute in 2010.
