I have been a Consultant Neurologist with a special interest in Stroke since 2018 based at one of the UK's busiest Tertiary Neuroscience centres at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

I have been involved with significant service reconfiguration of Stroke services including my role as Audit/Quality Improvement Lead while at Bristol including expanding our thrombolysis and thrombectomy services covering the South West and South Wales populations.

My Neurology private practice mirrors my NHS practice where I will see neurology patients with a variety of neurological complaints including headache, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, peripheral nerve/muscle disease and memory disorders. In my sub-specialty stroke clinic, I specialise in all aspects of stroke care particularly stroke prevention/TIA and review of patients following their stroke.

I completed my Neurology Training in South Wales (Cardiff, Newport and Swansea). In 2016 I completed a Stroke Fellowship at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. In addition I have also carried out Elective training in Princeton, New Jersey, USA.

My research thesis during my Neuroscience BSc was in Huntington's Disease at the Brain Repair Group, Cardiff University. I have published work in peer reviewed international journals and presented my work at International conferences in the UK and Europe (Euorpean Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC), Prague 2017).

I was Education Lead for the Department and actively involved in training of medical students, junior doctors and thrombolysis simulation training. I am current Medical School Examiner for the Clinical Exams at Bristol Medical School and have taught on Postgraduate MRCP Revision Courses.
