I am a fully accredited cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 20 years’ experience of working in the NHS. I have been sub specialising in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery since 2005.
Although extensively trained in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, my particular expertise lies in facial cosmetic surgery including eyelid/brow surgery, rhinoplasty, facelifting, necklifting, facial liposculpture, prominent ear correction and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. I am also able to offer cosmetic surgery of the breast, trunk and limbs. This includes breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast uplifting procedures, tummy tuck procedures and liposuction. As well as these cosmetic procedures, I am able to offer surgery for the management of skin cancer.
My training took place in the north east of England and other renowned centres of excellence in London. Additionally I have undertaken fellowships in microsurgery/ facial reconstruction at the St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford and Craniofacial Surgery at both Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London and Vancouver General Hospital, Canada. Notably I have also undertaken a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at The London Clinic on Harley Street.
I am a core member of the Skin cancer, Head & Neck cancer and Skull Base Multidisciplinary Teams at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle Upon Tyne. I am also the clinical lead for trauma within the plastic and reconstructive surgery department in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
My NHS practice predominantly consists of surgical treatment of skin cancer, head & neck cancer and facial /nasal reconstruction.
