Dr Emma Hughes

"Such a fabulous team to work with at Spire. From the moment I step through those doors I feel truly at home as one of their doctors."
After graduating as a medical doctor from the Royal Free and University College Hospitals Medical School in 2000, I began my training in surgery. In 2004, I commenced my training in Clinical Radiology at the Imperial hospitals, London. I was appointed as a Hospital Consultant in 2012 at the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation and am the Consultant lead for Head & Neck. I am also a specialist in breast Radiology with over 15 years experience.
With more than 20 years experience as an NHS Doctor and 8 years as a Consultant, I have performed thousands of fine needle procedures. Being a Head & Neck and Breast specialist with such a wealth of knowledge I am able to target injections into areas where anatomical detail matters. This has proved safe and valuable in terms of my cosmetic injectable service which I also provide.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Emma Hughes at Spire include:
Breast care and surgery
Ear Nose and Throat (ENT)
COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service at Spire Thames Valley Hospital.
