I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. I trained in Italy where I completed my medical qualification in 2007 and training in cardiology in 2012.
Between 2012 and 2016 I worked as a Consultant Cardiologist with specialist interest in cardiac imaging at San Raffaele Hospital Cardio-Thoracic Centre in Milan where I gained experience in the diagnosis and clinical management of valvular disease, including surgical valve replacement, TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation), MitraClip, ischaemic heart disease and heart failure. During my time in Italy, I contributed to research and completed a Second Level Master Degree at University Bicocca (Milan) and International Heart School with a focus on post-operative management of patients with valvular disease, heart failure, and mechanical assist devices in the Intensive Care Unit.
Between 2017 and 2020 I worked as a Post-CCT fellow at St George's Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital where I completed my fellowship in stress echocardiography, cardiac MRI and a clinical fellowship in heart failure.
In July 2020 I was appointed at Wexham Park Hospital as Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiac imaging, and am now the Clinical Lead of Echocardiography.
I routinely perform transthoracic echocardiography, including: transthoracic echocardiogram, ultrasound contrast echocardiogram, contrast bubble study for assessment of PFO (Patent Foramen Ovalis), stress echocardiography including dobutamine stress echo and exercise echo, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac MRI and stress perfusion cardiac MRI.
